Memories of Fall

My favorite fall memories are strolling through gold, crimson and copper toned forests with loved ones. Fall seems to bring an almost magical feel to the woodlands. In this diorama I’ve featured me, my boyfriend, and my dog, Jack. The background is a photograph taken by me of one of the North Carolina state parks that we explored in the fall. Eventually we plan to visit every state park in NC. (A dream of ours we hope to accomplish before we die.) My favorite memories of fall are simple, because we are poor; but among my favorites are long strolls with my boyfriend, my dog sunning amongst leaves of gold and decorating with pumpkins and fall flowers. I hope to have captured these memories as beautifully as I remember them. I believe that out of all the incredible moments I’ve experienced in my 31 years, it is the simplicity of these moments, and the magic of fall that only nature can provide, that I love the most. I only wish my photographs did the diorama some justice. It is much prettier in person. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed capturing and reliving the memories!
